Marlborough Rentals Near Blue Line C-Train | Livenvo Rent
Marlborough was established in 1967 and named for the English market town of Marlborough, Wiltshire. The community sits between 16th Avenue and Memorial Drive in Calgary's northeast, with Marlborough Mall anchoring its southwest corner and the Marlborough C-Train station on the Blue Line providing a direct downtown connection without a car.
Marlborough was established in 1967 and takes its name from Marlborough, Wiltshire, England. The community is bounded by 16th Avenue NE (the Trans-Canada Highway) to the north, 52nd Street NE to the east, Memorial Drive to the south, and 36th Street NE to the west, placing it squarely in Calgary's northeast quadrant. Marlborough Mall occupies the southwest corner of the community, giving renters a large shopping centre within walking distance of much of the neighbourhood. The Marlborough C-Train station, on the Blue Line since the system's original 1985 northeast opening, sits inside the community and has historically been one of the busiest stations in the network outside downtown, reflecting how many residents rely on it for a car-free commute. Housing in Marlborough is a mix of low-rise apartment buildings and single-family homes built through the late 1960s and 1970s, offering a range of rental options from apartments to houses. Its position along Memorial Drive and near Barlow Trail also makes for straightforward driving access to the rest of the city. For renters prioritizing direct C-Train access and mall-adjacent shopping in an established northeast community, Marlborough is a practical choice.
